The kitchen is the most lived-in room in any home — and the hardest place for technology to fit in. Oolaa's new Smart Kitchen Device was designed for kitchen use from the start, with every part of how it works shaped around the way people actually cook. The aim is simple: cooking that is happier, easier, and more convenient.
See it in action in the demo above: mid-recipe, the cook pulls up a tiramisu video on YouTube — no phone to unlock, no screen to wipe clean, and the cooking never stops.
Born for the kitchen
Most smart devices on the market were designed for the living room or the bedroom; very few truly consider how a kitchen is used. The Oolaa Smart Kitchen Device was different from the first day of the project: it focused on one thing only — the kitchen. That scenario-first focus is something other brands simply do not have.
Designed around the cooking flow
From prep to plating, cooking runs in one continuous motion, and controls should never become an obstacle in the middle of it. Every operation detail of the Smart Kitchen Device was polished against real kitchen scenarios, so the cook stays composed even when things get busy. In practice, that means the everyday routine a cook actually needs: a recipe video on YouTube, a countdown timer set by voice, a TV app running while dinner comes together.
Happy, joyful, convenient
The ultimate purpose of technology is to make people happier. At Oolaa, we believe good technology should never ask people to adapt to it — it should blend into life on its own. That is the design philosophy of the Smart Kitchen Device: joyful to use, a pleasure to live with, and convenient where it counts.
